Angela Peleiter is an actor, dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (Florham) with BA Degrees in Musical Theatre and Communication Studies. Angela began as a student of George Street Playhouse, returning as an intern during her time in college. In addition to teaching, Angela is the Administrative Assistant and STA Internship Coordinator for the GSP Education Department. Outside of GSP, Angela can be found coaching the Raider Color Guard at North Brunswick Township High School.
Annie Rutherford Lutz is a teaching artist, director, and performer with degrees in Theatre Arts and English from Douglass College at Rutgers University. Throughout the school year, she works with students ages 3-18 across the state of New Jersey as GSP's Resident Teaching Artist, leading programs in musical theatre technique, improv, the creation of original plays and musicals, and in-school curricular-based residencies. Most recently, she became a Project Coordinator for George Street Playhouse, where she has the privilege of managing in-school theatrical residencies and fostering new teaching artists.
Brooke Garfinkel works as a teaching artist and actress, and has performed and taught on both the east and west coasts. Her passion truly lies in theatre education, as well as theatre for social change. She attended Montclair State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with an honors Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. She has taught with the Marin Shakespeare Company, Riverside Theatre Arts, and is so very proud to be working with George Street Playhouse. Carol Foose has loved her time as a Teaching Artist with George Street Playhouse! She was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. Past credits include George Street Playhouse Educational Tour (Mencha in New Kid, Gabi in Gabi Goes Green, and Kayla in Austin, The Unstoppable!), Almost, Maine (Ginette, Glory, Gayle, Hope), Legally Blonde, The Musical (Ensemble, Serena u/s), Matt and Ben (Matt). Carol toured rural New England with Children’s Stage Adventures, teaching week-long residencies at elementary schools culminating in a fully-produced performance for family and friends to attend. Carol is a proud Orange Woman, having graduated from Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in Acting.
David Seamon is a composer, playwright, and actor. He works as a teaching artist for George Street Playhouse and McCarter Theatre, and is the playwright and composer of The Eleventh Hour, a new musical. David has an extensive background as a musical director and touring children's theater performer, and has a degree in journalism and media studies from Rutgers University. Awards and Recognitions: College TV Emmy Award, Everything’s Fine: A Panic Attack in D Major (composer); Best Score/Best Production at the New York Theatre Festival, The Eleventh Hour (composer/playwright).
Dustin Ballard is an actor, director, writer, and teaching artist. As an actor, Dustin was the Region II Winner and National Finalist for the 2009 Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship and has been seen on stage at Lincoln Center, Two River Theatre, Premiere Stages, and Writer's Theatre of NJ. His play DAEMON was awarded the Bauer-Boucher New Play Award from Premiere Stages, and his play Bend in the River co-authored with T.S. Hays premiered at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the Kean University Theatre Conservatory. He is a George Street Playhouse Teaching Artist and is a proud member of Actors' Equity.
Emily Goggin is an NYC-based music director, pianist, teacher, and performer. She holds a B.A. in Music from George Washington University. She has music directed several Off-Broadway productions, collaborated on new musicals, and has worked on a wide variety of shows, including productions of Assassins, Bring It On, and Next to Normal. She also teaches voice and piano lessons and works as an audition coach. Emily is passionate about bringing the joy of theater and music to people of all ages.
Larissa Garcia joined as an artist in residencey this past year and has since furthered her love of theatre with the passion for education that George Street Playhouse has always exhibited. Originally from San Diego, California she graduated from Catawba College in North Carolina with a BA in Theatre Arts. She is a strong collaborator and has worked with a wide variety of age groups and skill levels. Past training includes Moment work, Clowning, Musical Theatre, and much more. Alongside her creative artistry she is an experienced and skilled stage technician and delights in opportunities that allow her to use both.
Laura Bozzone holds a BFA in theatre arts from Hofstra University and has since shared her passion for the arts traveling the country acting and teaching theatre. She has performed with Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Storm Theatre, National Theatre for Children and Lost Nation Theatre. She was the head voice/speech teacher for Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s youth program and in addition to teaching with George Street Playhouse, Laura currently teaches/directs after school theatre programs with the Stuttering Association for the Young and Child’s Play in NYC.
Lucas Pinner is an actor, fight choreographer and teaching artist. Lucas has been a teaching artist with George Street Playhouse since 2014. For the last five years, Lucas has worked as the STEAM Teaching Artist for George Street Playhouse, working with students to create original costumes, sets, sound effects and props for their performances. He also works with students of all ages crafting original plays in GSP’s in-school Residency Program. This past year, Lucas worked with the GSP Education team in a larger capacity, working administratively with the Educational Touring Theatre and Residency programs. He has an affinity for dialects, Shakespeare and stage combat.
Rachel Matusewicz is an actor and teaching artist with George Street Playhouse. She has been teaching since college, and loves working with students of all ages. She enjoys inspiring a passion for theater, and examining questions through an artistic lens. Rachel considers George Street and New Brunswick Public Schools her second family, and is so fortunate to work in such a wonderful environment. She encourages people to always be curious, creative, and to never stop asking questions. Recent acting credits include Jane in the Bickford Theatre's production of Clever Little Lies, and several classical credits including Henry IV, Edward III, and Hamlet.
Sam Leichter has worked in theatre education for over seven years. For the last three years, Sam has been a Teaching Artist with George Street Playhouse. Previously, Sam served as the Education Manager for Marin Shakespeare Company in San Rafael, CA. In addition, Sam has worked recently with Wingspan Arts, and was a co-teacher at the New Collectives’ Shakespeare Camp this past summer. Sam holds a BA from Bates College, and received his MFA in Acting from Rutgers, where he has taught Basic Acting to undergrads. Sam is a working actor, a member of of Actors' Equity Association, and performs regularly in classics and new works.
