The Unicorn Foster Program is a program that gives extra help and resources to fosters with dogs at risk of long wait times for adoption. This can include, but isn't limited to: medical issues, behavioral challenges, and advanced training needs. (This can be a large, black, heartworm positive pitbull with extreme reactivity, but it can also be a foster that is dog and people friendly but resource guards toys). By providing this promotion and training and support, GPG had been able to get dogs that used to take years to be adopted adopted in just months.
