Foster Perks
As a GPG Foster you get volunteer points (1 per day per foster pet) for fostering! You can use these to redeem in our retail store, grooming salon or vet clinic. To sign up follow the directions below!
You will earn rewards points for fostering that can be redeemed in our pet store, pet spa, vet clinic, and more!
Please go to www.gatewaypets.volunteerhub.com. Click the blue link that says, "Create New Account." Please note, if you already have an account, DO NOT CREATE A NEW ONE. Simply log into your account. From there, click the blue arrow next to your name, and click "Enter Join Code." Then, enter the code provided below.
When creating your account, it will ask you for a Join Code. Please enter 812020. This will place you in the Foster Parent user group. Also, there will be a series of questions about your skills and interests. Do not check any of those boxes. Those are for volunteers only.
Please note, that while you will now have a Volunteer Hub account, this account will not allow you to see and sign up for volunteer opportunities. In order to see and register for volunteer opportunities, you must go through volunteer orientation and training. Once your account is created, you can track your points by logging into your account in Volunteer Hub. Point totals are displayed next to your name.
Earning Points
Fosters will earn one point per day, per foster, with a max of 3 points per day
3 points is equal to $1 and can be redeemed in the retail space, pet spa, vet clinic, event tickets, and more
Points will be added to your account on a bi-weekly basis
Points can be redeemed beginning September 1 (tentative)

We have a full time groomer at our Pet Spa and you all are eligible to schedule grooming services for your pets!!
Gateway Pet Guardians hired a new full-time groomer and effective immediately our adopters can schedule a grooming appointment at GPG! This includes baths, haircuts, anal gland expression and nail trims. Please call 618-687-8007 Ext. 4 or e-mail amanda@gatewaypets.org to schedule an appointment. Please include your contact info, your pet's name, gender, breed and birthdate and include proof of recent rabies vaccine. All proceeds from the Pet Spa help further GPG's mission!
