Getting a New Foster and More

To acquire your first (second, third... or EIGHTEENTH) foster pet, please check your e-mail daily for the most recent Foster Placement Update and/or reach out to our Foster Placement Team at Placement@gatewaypets.org (for dogs) or catplacement@gatewaypets.org (for cats).

We work hard to ensure we have a foster pet that will fit in with your lifestyle and household. Every night in a home is a victory for our shelter dogs and a learning experience for them (and us!) that will help us find the right placement for them. We can also facilitate a meet and greet at the shelter for your dog(s) to meet your potential foster dog.
