Project 1

Students were shown the "First Amendment" PowerPoint presentation and discussed the meaning of the different parts of the First Amendment. In groups, students are to create two products explaining a particular section of the amendment text.

1. Using PowerPoint, Prezi, Google Presentation or other technology product (possible products here), students will create a presentation using the actual words from the First Amendment for their particular section on the first slide.

• find a Supreme Court case that either supported or denied that particular section
• Tell the name of the case, who was involved, what was the issue, highlights from the case, and what tell the outcome (including any precedents that were set by this case).

2. Make a poster with the same information.
