A message from your Assistant Principal
Check out these updates:
⭐ For the remainder of the semester, we are focusing on the character trait integrity. We're talking to students about why it's important to be honest and always do the right thing even when no one is watching.
⭐ The middle of the year MAP window for all students is December 2-December 20.
⭐ Attendance Matters! Attendance is crucial for students because it significantly impacts their academic success, personal development, and future opportunities . Attending school consistently helps students develop routines and responsibility, preparing them for the structure of work or higher education. We want our students to be present and learn. Attendance is important!

Thank you SO MUCH for your family's participation in the Give Big Mission!! We donated over 750 boxes of cereal to the Good Samaritan food pantry this week! A special thanks goes to our NEHS students for helping move and load all of the boxes!
Our 2nd graders enjoyed their cereal party! Their grade level alone brought in almost 300 boxes!
ATTENTION 4th and 5th GRADE PARENTS!
Mark your calendars for a very important meeting about your child’s future middle school choice! We will meet on Thursday, December 12th at 5:30 to discuss middle school options for your child.
GISD’s Magnet and Choice of School process has changed this year, so make sure to attend this informational meeting! 5th grade parents will receive a Student Profile with important information and test scores for your child that evening. You will learn which magnet programs your child is eligible for and how to choose next year's middle school.
We are also inviting 4th grade parents to come and learn the middle school process. Your child’s test scores in 4th grade will determine what options are available to them for middle school.
We hope you can join us!
