We are very excited that so many of our alumni go on to study and build careers in Sustainable Development or are are involved in projects as volunteers or philanthropists. We could not possibly capture all the ways in which our alumni are involved but some notable examples, many of whom are helping the College, are shown below. Please do contact alumni@uwcsea.edu.sg if you know of any more .

Ashima Sukhdev ('04) is the Government & Cities Programme Lead for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, our educational partners, the international thought leaders on transitioning to a Circular Economy, one where waste is purposely designed out of systems. Ashima was a key member of Green Campus service over ten years ago, and cites this Middle School experience as a key impact on her career journey in Sustainable Development.
Our Parents Associations on both campuses have made great strides towards organising large events with a Zero-Waste philosophy. Key community events such as Family Festival, Community Fair and UN Night see the PAs working alongside Global Concerns to reduce disposable food ware with great ingenuity. Standards are set higher every year as our whole community and external partners grow in the understanding and innovate for sustainability.
