The College's flagship programme for educating for Peace the Initiative for Peace. The mission of Initiative for Peace (IFP) is "youth connecting youth to build sustainable peace". We do this by developing our students understanding of peacebuilding and then training them to develop the skills of a peacebuilder. Students then apply this new understanding and their new skills in order to plan and deliver a peace conference in areas where conflict (not necessarily violent conflict) exists.
We currently run conferences in Timor Leste (one of the newest countries in the world which is working hard to overcome the ravages of war) and in Mae Sot on the Thai Burmese border (where we work with Karen refugees escaping the longest running civil war in the world and youth from a variety of ethnicities in Myanmar and Thailand).

The College participates in the international Model United Nations programme to help students develop understanding of global issues and the policy means to resolve issues of peace and social justice in particular.
