Objective: To increase students awareness and understanding of how self-talk can effect their lives and the lives of those around them.

2. Discussion Questions:
What happens when you have too much negative self-talk?
Take a minute to think about your inner voice. Is it positive? Negative? Some of both? Reflect on how you might change your inner dialogue to make yourself feel better. How can you talk to and encourage yourself - talking to yourself more like you would a best friend/sister/brother?
Are there people close to you that need to work on their self-talk? How could you help them with this?
3. Spend the remainder of the time planning/decorating the door for the holidays. You will have some time the next two Mondays to decorate, as well. Judging of the doors will take place on Monday, December 20th after Connections. The catagories that will be used for judging is below.
