Grade: 9
Objective: To increase students awareness and understanding of the importance of being an individual and embracing what makes them unique. In addition, students will spend time decorating the door for the holidays.

Procedures:
1. Watch Individuality Video with Kelsea Ballerini - Season 3- Episode 1 (4 minutes) SCROLL DOWN about halfway & Click "Watch Episode"

2. Discussion Questions:
What's something that is unique about you? Do you embrace it?
Can you think of people you are close to that try to hide their unique qualities to fit in?
What can you do to encourage those around you to celebrate their uniqueness, as well as, yourself?

3. Spend the remainder of the time planning/decorating the door for the holidays. You will have some time the next two Mondays to decorate, as well. Judging of the doors will take place on Monday, December 20th after Connections. The catagories that will be used for judging is below.
