Looking for G/T training? We’ve got you covered! Hays CISD offers a variety of G/T professional learning opportunities designed to deepen your understanding of gifted learners and provide practical strategies you can use right away. 

Course offerings include Nature & Needs of Gifted and Talented Students, Identification & Assessment of Gifted Students, Introduction to Depth & Complexity, Critical & Creative Thinking, and Social & Emotional Needs of the Gifted: Perfectionism. 

Teachers can also access Region 13’s 6-hour G/T update courses, providing additional flexible options for meeting annual G/T requirements. Whether you’re working toward your initial 30 hours or completing your annual 6-hour update, there’s a G/T learning opportunity for you! 

Region 13 Education Service Center offers a system of courses designed to help you meet your update requirements while gaining practical strategies you can use right away. 

To participate, please sign up using the Google Form. After completing Google Form, you will receive communication directly from Region 13 with next steps and additional details for completing your course(s). 

Courses will be available between September 2, 2026- November 20, 2026.
