Kelly Mill Family,
What a week filled with fun end-of-year festivities! The class parties were a huge hit—kudos to our room moms and teachers who truly know how to throw a great end-of-year celebration. Thank you to our parents as well for your patience and partnership with the RSVP and check-in process as we work to keep our students safe while having fun.
A special thank you to our 5th grade teachers and chaperones for a super successful field trip to Chattanooga. Our students had an amazing experience and represented Kelly Mill so well!
The 3–5 Field Day experiences were also a great success. Huge shout out to Coach Warner and his support team for managing stations, keeping things running smoothly, and creating such a fun experience for our students. The weather was beautiful, and the kids had an absolute blast!
We are looking forward to closing out the school year next week with K–2 Field Days and lots of exciting 5th grade celebrations and fun ahead.
It’s a great time to be a Colt who CARES!

We have truly enjoyed having you visit for lunch with your child throughout this school year. Due to end of year Milestone testing and end of year celebrations, we will no longer be able to accommodate lunch visits after April 24th for the remainder of the school year.

Instead of individual class party, the 5th graders will have a full day to celebrate together outside with bouncy houses, game trucks, putt-putt, lunch, dessert and more! Weekly 90-minute sessions for children ages birth–5
Led by certified teachers who guide interactive, play-based learning
Builds early literacy, language, math, and social skills
Families attend sessions together with their child and learn strategies to continue at home

KME Item Drop Off Policy
In an effort to minimize disruptions to learning, support campus safety, and ensure front office can operate efficiently we will only accept the following items:
*Lunches
*Water Bottles
*Eyeglasses
*Medications
Please make every effort to establish a routine at home for bringing these necessary items to school each morning. We will not interrupt the learning environment to take personal items to classrooms or call the classroom to send your child to the office to retrieve any items.
All drop off items listed below must be dropped off in the front office by 10:30 AM.

To ensure a safe and smooth dismissal, afternoon student check‑out will conclude at 1:30 PM. Check‑outs after this time cannot be accommodated due to dismissal preparations and limited time to communicate changes to teachers.
