I'm excited to welcome all of our new and returning Kelly Mill families to an incredible school year! Our staff has been hard at work preparing for an amazing year of learning, growth, and connection, and we can't wait to welcome our Colts back into the building. Whether you're joining our Kelly Mill family for the first time or returning for another great year, know that we are committed to creating a school where every child feels connected, challenged, and supported. As we kick off the year, we've gathered a few important reminders to help your family have a smooth and successful start.

As we prepare to welcome our students back to Kelly Mill, we are excited for another incredible year of learning, growth, and building meaningful connections together. Our teachers and staff will be working diligently to prepare engaging classrooms, strengthen instructional practices, and create a positive environment where every child can thrive. BIG NEWS! 

We are thrilled to announce that Kelly Mill Elementary is partnering with Hope for Hall – Forsyth Chapter to launch fundraising efforts for the Kelly Mill Inclusive Playground—A Playground for All!

Hope for Hall has helped build incredible inclusive playgrounds throughout Hall County, and we are honored to partner with them as the first Forsyth County School to bring this vision to life. When our community identifies a need, we come together to make amazing things happen—and we know this project will be no different.

We invite all of our families to join us for our Playground Pep Rally next week at Kelly Mill to learn more about this exciting initiative, hear about the vision for the playground, and discover how you can help make it a reality. Together, we can create a space where every child belongs, every child plays, and every child is included.

As you enjoy these final two weeks of summer, I encourage you to make the most of the time together. Slow down when you can, make memories, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the moments with the people you love. Before we know it, backpacks will be packed, alarm clocks will be set, and our halls will once again be filled with the energy and excitement of a new school year. We can't wait to welcome our Colts back and begin another amazing year together.
