The Colt Connection
February 27, 2026
Kelly Mill Family,
It has been an incredibly busy and high-energy week here on campus! We have so much to celebrate and a few important reminders to keep our community running smoothly.
Oratorical Greatness: A huge congratulations to Benjamin Hale! Benjamin is moving on to the Forsyth County Oratorical Finals next week. We are so proud of your hard work and courage—good luck, Benjamin! We’re all rooting for you.
Robotics Excellence: Our Robotics program truly leveled up this past weekend! We are bursting with pride for all our teams:
State Success: 4 out of our 5 teams qualified for and competed in the State Competition last weekend!
Award Winners: Our Colts brought home three significant awards, showcasing their technical skills and teamwork.
Worlds Bound: We are thrilled to announce that one of our teams is heading to the World Competition in late April!
We are so proud of the innovation and grit these students have shown. Way to go, Robotics!
A Bilingual Showcase: This morning, our 3rd Grade DLI students took the stage to perform their musical for friends and family. It was an amazing showcase of our bilingual learners' talents and dedication. Bravo to our performers!
To keep our students safe and our morning commute efficient, please keep the following in mind:
Stay in your vehicle: All parents and students should remain in their cars and utilize the designated drop-off lane.
Late arrivals: If you arrive after the bell has rung, please park and walk your student into the building. Otherwise, please ensure your student is inside the building before the bell rings.
Spring Pictures: Tuesday, March 24th. Get those smiles ready!
Thank you for being such a supportive part of our Colt family!
Be sure to take time to rest, recharge, and relax with those you love!
Love,
Mrs. Moity
