Kelly Mill Family,
Thank you for another great week at Kelly Mill! Today’s online learning day and parent conferences were a success, and we truly appreciate the partnership between our teachers and families to support our students.
March Madness has officially arrived at KME, and our Colts are jumping right into the fun with a schoolwide challenge. Classes are working together to meet weekly goals, and along the way students are being recognized as our MVPs.
This week’s focus was on having calm bodies and keeping our hands and feet to ourselves. These goals were selected based on our midyear data as we continue working together to grow in the areas where we know improvement matters most.
Colts, keep up the great work! We can’t wait to see those March Madness boards filling up with basketballs and MVPs as our students continue to rise to the challenge.
Be sure to take time to rest, recharge, and relax with those you love! It looks like we will have a beautiful weekend!
Love,
Mrs. Moity

We are so proud to celebrate our very own school counselor as a Top Finalist for Counselor of the Year! His kindness, compassion, and commitment to supporting students and families make a difference every single day. He leads with heart, advocates for what students need, and helps create a school where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
We'd love your input on your child's learning preferences and the ideal classroom environment for their success. This information is vital for us to ensure the best placement.
Please share details about your child's personality, how they interact with others (self-advocacy, functioning in a crowd, leader/follower), and any other helpful insights. Your comprehensive feedback, combined with input from current/former teachers and counselors, helps us better understand their placement needs.
While we are unable to honor specific teacher requests, you are welcome to mention if another child of yours had a positive experience with a particular teacher.
Please submit a separate form for EACH child by Friday, April 17th.
Our spring picture day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th. You may pre-order photos using this link: https://bpiphotography.net/view-order-photos/

You will get more details from your room parent on how you can help, so keep your eyes peeled for that communication. We will be collecting items for the Brunch of Love and you can send in teacher wish list items on Tuesday!
Each year during Teacher Appreciation Week, our community comes together to send in items so the KME staff can enjoy a delicious meal. This annual tradition will be celebrated on Monday, March 30th. We are so thankful that Ellianos Coffee will once again be donating delicious hot and iced coffee for the entire staff, but we can’t do it without YOU! Please sign up to donate items for our Brunch of Love below.
Last year, the teachers loved selecting from a variety of $10 gift cards and snacks from our snack cart, so we decided to do it again. Gift card donations will be due Monday, March 30th. Please help us spoil ALL of our amazing teachers again by donating gift cards and signing up. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4BAFA72CA5F8C61-62582961-teacher
