The Colt Connection
The Colt Connection
March 6, 2026
Kelly Mill Family,
We are so proud of the hard work our Colts are putting in right now! Our students are rocking their spring universal screening assessments. Using our midyear data, students set individual goals, and they have been working incredibly hard to reach them.
You might find this amazing — we have students who have demonstrated over three years of growth in just seven months! Many classes and grade levels have already surpassed their goals. That kind of growth happens because of the dedication of both our students and our teachers.
Our teams are using data to drive instruction, but that’s not all. Teachers are also collaborating and planning together to design engaging, meaningful lessons for students every day. The momentum across our building is strong, and it’s exciting to see!
Let’s keep it up, Colts — we still have 10 more weeks of learning and growing together this school year.
A few quick reminders for our families:
BINGO Night is tonight! We are looking forward to a fun evening together.
Yearbook orders are due next Friday, March 13.
March 13 will also be an Online Learning Day.
Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up. Teachers will reach out if a conference is recommended, but families are always welcome to request one as well.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so proud of our Colts and the amazing things happening at Kelly Mill!
Be sure to take time to rest, recharge, and relax with those you love!
Love,
Mrs. Moity
