April 24, 2026
Kelly Mill Family,
We had a great week at KME! Our teachers kept students guessing each day with our “underground” spirit week themes—it was so fun to hear their guesses and the creative thought processes behind them!
Next week, our 3rd–5th grade students will participate in Georgia Milestones testing. This is an important opportunity for students to show what they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown this year.
Our teachers have worked intentionally all year to prepare students—balancing strong instruction with engaging lessons, meaningful practice, and thoughtful review. We are so proud of the effort, focus, and perseverance our students have shown, and we are confident they will do their very best. We continue to remind our students that doing their best matters more than a score.
You can help set your child up for success each day by:
Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep
Providing a healthy breakfast each morning
Arriving to school on time and ready to go
Encouraging a positive mindset and confidence
Reminding them to take their time and do their best
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are proud of our Colts and all they have accomplished this year—it’s a great time to be a Colt who CARES!
Be sure to take time to rest, recharge, and relax with those you love!
Love,
Mrs. Moity
