The copy command will create copies of selected objects.

The rectangular array command will make an array of rows and columns of selected objects.

1) Activate the copy command by selecting the Copy button OR by typing in "copy" and hitting enter

2) Select objects to be copied

3) Specify the base point of the copy position

4) Specify second point where the copy will be created

5) Specify another point for another copy and continue to repeat this or hit enter to end the command

The array commands will create copies of objects arranged in a specific pattern. There are three pattern types AutoCAD can create.

The rectangular array command will make an array of rows and columns of selected objects.

2) Select objects to be copied

3) Edit the options as needed:

Count - Specify the number of columns and rows

Spacing - Specify the distance between columns and rows

Columns - Specify the number of columns and the distance between

Rows - Specify the number of rows and the distance between

The path array command copies the objects along a defined path (usually a curve).

1) Activate the path array command by selecting the Path Array button OR by typing in "arraypath" and hitting enter

2) Select objects to be copied

3) Edit the options as needed:

Items - Specify the number of copies along the path and distance   between

Rows - Specify the number of rows copied and the distance between

The polar array command copies the objects in a circular pattern.

1) Activate the polar array command by selecting the Polar Array button OR by typing in "arraypolar" and hitting enter

2) Select objects to be copied

3) Specify center point of the circle

4) Edit the options as needed:

Items - Specify the number of copies around the circle

Angle - Specify the angle between each object

Fill Angle - Specify how much (the angle) of the circle should have the pattern

Rows - Specify the number of rows copied and the distance between

Rotate items - Specify if the copies should be rotated or not
