Grips are small squares, rectangles, and triangles that appear on selected objects. They can manually modify an object using the following options: stretch, move, rotate, scale, or mirror without having to enter a command.

If grips do not appear after an object is selected, confirm that the 'Show grips' setting is turned on.

1) Right click on the drawing area

2) Go to the 'Selection' tab

3) Check next to the option 'Show grips'
