What is Pathways to Personalized Learning?

Pathways to Personalized Learning is a self-paced, fully asynchronous badged course in Unified Talent that allows participants choice in the time, pace, path, and place of their learning.  One-credit badged courses are offered according to domains in the Framework for Teaching.  Each module (called "courses" in Unified Talent) within the badged course is designated time (1-3 hours) that accrues toward 1 credit (15 hours). 


Below are answers to some commonly asked questions about the Pathways to Personalized Learning Course.


What is a badged course?

Unified Talent, our new professional learning platform has badged courses available.  Pathways to Personalized Learning is the first of this kind in Unified Talent.  Each badged course is connected to a domain in the Framework for Teaching.  Soon you could earn up to four credits and four badges by taking all of the Pathways to Personalized Learning badged courses.

How do I earn credits?

 Credit is awarded by completing 15 learning hours.  You will submit your completed Pathways Tracking Document which details your learning plan and the modules (called "courses" in Unified Talent).  Within the Tracking Document, you will also share your Evidence of Learning Artifact.  This highlights the application of your learning to your role. Your fifteen hours consists of 12 hours of engaging with HyperDocs and 3 hours working on your Evidence of Learning Artifact. You will be able to earn 1 credit in each Badged Course. Badged courses align to the domains in the Framework for Teaching.  Pathways to Personalized Learning can be taken for a one-time maximum of 4 credits.
