Double check that you have completed the steps below to ensure you capture all the benefits! 

1. Let us know so we can celebrate with you! Complete this form.

   • Note: If you were approved for SY 26 fee support and don’t need retakes now, filling out this form will let us know to remove your fee request from our file without filling out another form. 🎉

2. Submit your official NBCT certificate or letter of achievement.

   • Email your official letter and certificate from NBPTS to courseapproval@fcps.org.  HR personnel will move the process forward including: 

     1.  Update your credentials on your Person Profile/Qualifications tab in PeopleSoft. 

     2.  Forward the information to compensation@fcps.org to process your salary enhancement based on eligiblity.                                                                              Need more information? Please see Employee Additional Certification Process 

   • Question about NBCT salary enhancements? Please review the FCTA negotiated agreement 

3. Review credit opportunities. MSDE credits may be available if you did not submit for them prior to your achievement.  Check out the requirements, options and submission processes: MSDE Credits for National Board Certification 

4. Apply for your digital badge from NBCT. To request access to a badge, please use this form.
