The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (8-8, 3-8 CC) faces two Centennial Conference (CC) opponents this week. The Diplomats get set to host Gettysburg (13-3, 10-1 CC), a team receiving votes in the national polls, on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. F&M then hits the road to wrap up its season-series with Bryn Mawr (2-13, 0-11 CC) Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Last Week
During the previous week, F&M split their CC matchups against Dickinson and Haverford. In the 62-38 loss at Dickinson, Jaclyn Feit led the team with 14 points and seven rebounds. The Diplomats bounced back with a win at home against Haverford, 52-47, on Saturday afternoon. F&M jumped out to as much as an 11-point lead in the second half. The Fords didn't go away quietly as they cut the deficit to three late in the fourth quarter, but steady shooting at the free throw line helped F&M hold off the visitors during the late push. F&M as a team shot 90 percent (18-for-20) from the charity stripe in the win. Feit lead the Diplomats with 16 points and four blocks. Last Time vs. Gettysburg
Franklin & Marshall suffered a 59-44 loss on the road at Gettysburg during their last matchup in November. A slow start put F&M behind early as they were outscored, 15-6, in the opening quarter. F&M made a couple runs throughout the game to narrow the deficit, but the effort was denied by the Bullets down the stretch - handing the Diplomats their second loss of the season. Gia Sioutis led F&M with eight points, while Feit recorded a team-leading eight rebounds in the contest. On defense, five different Diplomats registered a steal in the game. Read the full recap here.

F&M earned a 50-32 win over Bryn Mawr in December. In the victory over the Owls, F&M racked up 19 steals with eight of them coming from Quinn Galligan. The Diplomats never trailed in the contest and led by as much as 20 during regulation. Feit led the team with 15 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks in the win.
