The Diplomats battle Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) (3-3, 2-0 Liberty League) on Friday at 6:00 p.m. before playing William Smith (1-7, 1-2 Liberty League) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Diplomats fell to Johns Hopkins, 59-42, in F&M's final home game of 2023. Despite F&M leading 25-21 at the halftime intermission, the Blue Jays outscored the Diplomats, 23-5, in the third quarter to take control of the lead. Franklin & Marshall was then edged, 47-46, on the road at McDaniel on December 9. Both teams traded the lead multiple times throughout the game with the Diplomats holding a 39-33 advantage at the 5:52 mark of the fourth quarter for its largest lead of the contest. However, the Green Terror began a 14-2 run to take 47-41 lead with 1:26 left in the game. A pair of free throws from Quinn Galligan followed by a three-pointer from Lizzie Neville got the Diplomats within a point, but F&M couldn't sink the potential game-winning basket as time expired.
