The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (2-1, 0-1 CC) gears up to take on three Centennial Conference (CC) opponents this week. The Diplomats hit the road to play Gettysburg (2-2, 0-1 CC) Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. before heading to Washington College (2-1, 0-0 CC) to battle the Shorewomen on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. F&M then returns to the Mayser Center to host Bryn Mawr (2-3, 0-1 CC) Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Diplomats suffered its first loss of the season, 53-44, against Ursinus Tuesday evening. F&M hung with the Bears through the entirety of the game, but the visitors outscored Franklin & Marshall, 17-10, in the fourth quarter to deny the Diplomats of a comeback. Jaclyn Feit led the team with 12 points and seven rebounds. The senior also contributed three blocks, three steals, and one assist in the contest. Last Time vs. Gettysburg
The Diplomats were defeated by Gettysburg in both of their matchups during the 2022-23 season. In the last meeting between the teams, F&M fell, 51-41, in early February. Last Time vs. Washington College
F&M and Washington College split its 2022-23 season series as the Shorewomen won the first game, 53-52, before the Diplomats responded with a 52-50 win in February. In the victory, F&M erased an 11-point first half deficit and outscored Washington College 21-14 in the fourth quarter to win the game. Last Time vs. Bryn Mawr
The Diplomats extended its winning streak to 27 over Bryn Mawr as it swept the Owls in the season series last winter. F&M rolled to a 67-39 victory in early December before winning, 56-34, in late January. In the 56-34 win, the Diplomats never surrendered the lead and limited the Owls to a shooting percentage of 29.5 percent from the field. Kolb finished with double-digit scoring figures as she tallied 15 points, while shooting 50 percent from the field. Gettysburg Team Preview
The Bullets carry a 2-2 record into Tuesday's contest, with wins over Allegheny and Eastern. Alayna Arnolie (14.5 ppg) and Mackenzie Szlosek (13.8 ppg) leads the Bullets in scoring as they are the only members that average over 10 points per game. Shooting 60 percent from behind the arc, Szlosek also leads the conference in three-point percentage.
Washington College Team Preview
WAC travels to play Swarthmore on Tuesday before hosting F&M on Thursday. The Shorewomen started the season with wins over Notre Dame (Md.) and Immaculata before falling to Marymount last week. Karry Kelliher averages 15.3 points, while also recording three steals a game to lead Washington College in both categories. Kiersten Rose leads the Shorewomen in rebounds with an average of seven per contest.
Bryn Mawr Team Preview
The Owls face Muhlenberg and Johns Hopkins before traveling to Lancaster to square off with the Diplomats. Jessica Smith leads BMC in points per game (16.2), rebounds per game (7.2), and assists per game (1.8), so far this season.
