The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (3-3, 1-3 CC) faces two Centennial Conference foes this week. The Diplomats host Johns Hopkins (6-1, 4-0 CC), a team receiving votes in the national poll, Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. before hitting the road to play McDaniel (6-2, 2-2 CC) Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Diplomats went 1-2 in its CC games last week and look to build momentum off its 50-32 victory over Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon. In the victory over the Owls, F&M racked up 19 steals with eight of them coming from Quinn Galligan. The Diplomats never trailed in the game and led by as much as 20 during regulation. Jaclyn Feit led the team with 15 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks in the win. Galligan also finished with double-digit figures as she recorded 10 points. Franklin & Marshall suffered a 59-44 loss on the road at Gettysburg Tuesday evening. The Diplomats struggled to get anything going early as they were outscored, 15-6, in the opening quarter. F&M made a couple runs throughout the game to narrow the score, but the effort was denied by the Bullets down the stretch - handing F&M its second loss of the season. Sioutis led F&M with eight points, while Feit recorded a team-leading eight rebounds in the contest. Defensively, five different Diplomats registered a steal in the game. Read the full recap here.
F&M was edged on the road at Washington College, 43-42, Thursday afternoon in a back-and-forth battle. The Diplomats scored eight unanswered points in the fourth quarter to get within one, but couldn't sink the tying bucket in the final minute. Neville scored 15 points with five steals, followed by Feit tallying 12 points and five blocks in the contest. Elisabeth Peeples leads the Blue Jays in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game. Peebles also leads the conference from beyond the arc, averaging 2.71 triples per game. Michaela O'Neil closely follows, averaging 11.4 points per contest while averaging 45.5 percent from the field.

McDaniel followed up losses to Dickinson and Johns Hopkins with wins against Haverford and Ursinus. Elaina Beckett leads the Green Terror averaging 13 points per game, while shooting 51.2 percent from the field. Teya McConnaha averages 8.4 rebounds per game, which ranks second in the conference.
