Hello Families! My name is Christine Stubbs, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher for the 2025–2026 school year! This will be my 17th year teaching and my 15th year at the Perry L. Drew School. I am truly looking forward to working with your children and helping them reach their fullest potential.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English/Elementary and Special Education and my Master’s Degree in Education from Georgian Court University. I am also a certified Wilson Reading Dyslexia Specialist and trained in implementing the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my son, Matthew. Together, we love building Lego sets, playing with dinosaurs, and playing board and card games like Apples to Apples and Uno Spin. We are big Disney, Marvel, and Super Mario fans! In fact, we’re looking forward to visiting Universal in November to see the new Mario World. We also enjoy traveling—especially to North Carolina to visit my aunt and to Florida to visit Mickey Mouse. One of our favorite ways to travel is by cruise ship, and we are planning our very first Disney Cruise for summer 2026!

Outside of family time, I enjoy reading, baking, kickboxing, and Zumba classes. I’m also a proud martial arts mom, as Matthew keeps me busy with his martial arts classes, private training, and tournaments.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and fun!
