Hello my name is Melissa Creighton. This is my 21st year teaching. I previously taught in Edison for 14 years. Boy does time fly when you are having fun! During this time I have had the opportunity to teach First, Second and Fourth Grades. I am currently a Basic Skills Teacher for the district. When I became an interventionist, my passion to help struggling readers grew even more. Since then I have become a certified teacher for RLAC's Phonics First Basics and Wilson Reading.

I truly enjoy helping children become lifelong learners. I also enjoy working with parents to make sure that each child gets his/her individual needs met and is learning in a style that works best for him/her.
