Laptop / Wifi Hotspot Information

You will receive set-up instructions with your laptop package when delivered. Be sure to keep these instructions so that you can set up your laptop. It will have a username/password that is specific to you and it vital to getting your laptop set up.

One of the most important and first things you will need to do is set up your gmail on this laptop. Epic has assigned you a username that looks like a gmail address but it IS NOT an email address - just a username that they’ve assigned to you. You will need to set up your personal gmail account on this laptop so that we can have online video meetings.

You are responsible for the care of your laptop and all educational items purchased through Epic. Please take care of your laptop! If you decide to leave Epic, then you are required to return all items purchased through the Epic learning fund (laptop, wifi device and any other educational items).

WIFI Hotspot Information

Your hotspot is to be used for school purposes only - not to stream movies, play videos and/or games, etc. You are given a specific amount of data each month to get school work completed. Using your data for purposes other than your lessons does not excuse you from doing your work and attending your meetings.

Beasely is the company who monitors student use of all technology. If a student is not submitting work weekly and is found to be using their hotspot or laptop for purposes other than school, then Beasely can shut down access to all sites other than school-required programs.

Advice: DO NOT GIVE YOUR HOTSPOT PASSWORD TO OTHERS. Once you run out of data, then you will not have more data added until the next month, yet work will still be due. It will be your responsibility to gain access to the internet from other resources to complete assignments.
