Parent Portal

1. Go to www.epiccharterschools.org

2. Scroll down to the Parent Portal Log-In section.

3. Use the links if you forgot anything. This is the username and password that you created at enrollment. I do not have your password. These "Forgot" links will send the information to the e-mail address that you gave when you enrolled.

4. Log in and click on "Learning Fund."

5. In the "Epicenter ID" column, next to each student, you will find the student ID. This ID number will be used for most all usernames. You should write this down.

All About Me (Grades Pre-K through 2nd)

In your Writing notebook, complete this information. Mom and dad can help with the writing, but you must draw a picture for each section.

All About Me (Grades 3 through 12)

1. Go to Google.com

2. Click the waffle icon in the top right (9 small squares in a square pattern)

3. Click on Drive

4. Click New

5. Click the blue Document icon

6. Copy and paste the following information into your new document:

Paragraph 1:

Introduce yourself! Tell me your name, where you're from, the year in which you will graduate from high school and what brings you to Epic. Include something that makes you unique.

Paragraph 2:

Favorite subject and why.

Paragraph 3:

List sports or games you play and explain which is your favorite. Explain what you do in your spare time (do not repeat previous information). What is your most and least favorite responsibility at home? Explain why for each. Include pictures taken from your chromebook (if you have it) or your camera.

Paragraph 4:

Include pictures from Google or from your camera on your laptop.

Favorite movie, explain why.

Favorite book, explain why.

Favorite food, explain why.

After you fill in your responses complete the following format changes before sharing with your teacher:

Change the font of each paragraph to be different than the rest.

Change the color of each question from my original instructions to be different from the rest.

Include a title, centered at the top. Change the font size of the title.

Underline the title.

Use the highlight tool to highlight each “Paragraph” title.

Make each question under the paragraph title italicized.

How to share:

Click on the blue “SHARE” button at the top right of the page.

Enter my email address. You should be able to enter the first few letters of my name and Google will find me in your Contacts.

Click on the pencil icon to the right and choose “Can Comment.”

Click done and that’s it!
