This school year, students may work in some of the programs listed below. In general, students will learn the concepts through their core curriculum, practice concepts using Flocabulary, IXL and workbooks, then demonstrate mastery using Study Island for tested subjects. If after taking a Study Island quiz, students do not earn a blue ribbon on that concept, then that quiz will be deleted and a remediation lesson will be assigned before the student can re-take the Study Island quiz.
Remediation may be with me, or with homework help tutor. For non-tested subjects, students will work primarily in their core curriculum and other supplements. Scores falling below 70% in a course may require remediation (same as above).
Gradable assignments (*) may include:
*Core curriculum (Compass, Plato, Gradpoint, etc.)
*Study Island (Required for all Epic students)
*Khan Academy
*IXL
*Flocabulary
*Attendance for weekly teacher meetings
*Homework Help
*Benchmark testing
