The East Peoria Blood Drive hosted by Lydia Eaker was held on August 25th to provide life saving services for those in need. Brave donors lined up to give blood to support the Red Cross and save lives. There was a total of 39 pints collected that day. Despite the sharpness of the needles, the atmosphere was wonderfully positive and helpful! Blood donation is a very selfless act to help those who need it.
