Emanuel has taught me strong leadership skills and has given me many opportunities to be a leader in school and the community.

Talia is a talented singer and dramatist who has enjoyed starring in the High School productions of 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'Midsummer Night’s Dream'. She was a pivotal member of a number of the School choirs over the years. As Music Captain, she invested many hours developing student performances for the House Music competition. Amongst her stand-out memories are leading and writing the arrangement for the choral segment of the event, and performing in and leading the Rock Band.

Talia believes that the leadership skills that she developed at Emanuel will serve her well in the future and plans on studying fashion design at RMIT in Melbourne, using her spare time to travel the world.

Talia was described by a fellow student as a hard-working, determined and extremely creative student who strives for success, particularly in music where she excels in singing. “She is also not afraid to be unique and I really admire her for that.”
