PHILOSOPHICAL PHILOSOPHER
Year entered Emanuel: 2009
The School has been a space that provides knowledge and opportunity. Every aspect culminates to create a suitable encapsulation of the life beyond the School, and hence to me, this satisfies the very purpose of school life.
Eitan is a philosophical student who has a sophisticated understanding and use of language. He enjoys “being open to discussion and engaged with his learning”. Eitan actively seeks and embraces challenges in his learning. He particularly enjoys Software Design and Development (SDD) and has won the year group prize for the subject two years running. In 2014, he was awarded the Information and Software Technology Prize.
Eitan sees himself as “curious, interested and engaged in the deeper elements [of his subjects]”. His integrity has been singled out by his teachers as being one of his many valuable traits, another being his willingness to take on responsibility beyond his core learning. He graciously took on the role of analysing the weekly Torah portion and presenting an outline to his fellow students every week.
