Emanuel cultivates a nurturing and supportive environment that inspires us to thrive and celebrate our passions.

Amy is a passionate and talented sportswoman who has excelled physically as well as academically. She has been recognised as the School’s Athletics Age Champion for the past three years and has participated in representative-level athletics, basketball, cross-country football, netball, soccer and touch football during her High School career. In 2016 Amy was awarded a number of prizes including the English Advanced Prize, English Extension Prize, PDHPE Prize, Writer of the Year, Academic Proficiency Prize and Representative Sport Prize. Her previous years reflect a similar exceptional pattern. Amy achieved a high Band 6 as a Mathematics accelerant in 2016.

Amy would like to be remembered at Emanuel for her sense of humour and warm, inclusive nature. She reflects that the life lessons learnt at school will stand her in good stead, in particular being one’s personal best and the ability to think critically.

Amy has been at Emanuel since Year K and believes that the School offers a stimulating and engaging environment. “I don’t think that anything else could make me happy to wake up that early in the morning!” Fellow students hold Amy in exceptionally high regard, saying for example: “I would describe Amy as undoubtedly the hardest working, most committed person I know. She is a model student but is humble about her many achievements.”
