Emanuel is the only school I have ever been to and where I have spent thousands of hours. It is like a second home.

Jake is an accomplished sportsman and has participated in Cross Country and played Basketball, Netball, Futsal, Soccer and Cricket, all at Representative level. He was also the Emanuel Swimming Age Champion at school in 2012, 2013 and again in 2017. Jake particularly enjoys Basketball and could be found every lunchtime ‘shooting hoops’ with his friends. In his HSC year Jake reignited his passion for golf, and is a very competent player. He could also be found before and after school at the beach surfing, which he has been doing since age 4.

Jake describes himself as a diligent, hard-working and motivated individual, with a great sense of humour. He is proud of completing the HSC so well and has particularly enjoyed Economics and Business Studies.

Jake intends to visit Japan in 2018 before studying at university.
