Keeping in Touch

Make sure to periodically e-mail the parents of campers before the camp. Remind them when the camp’s date is approaching, and let them know what their camper should bring with them or wear. Make sure every email is professional. Have a mentor help draft your emails if you haven't written professional emails before.

Things campers should bring along or wear:

• Comfortable clothes that can get dirty
• A full water bottle
• A labeled lunch with drink (let the parents know if refrigeration will be available)
• Sunscreen
• Any necessary medicine (for food allergies, etc)
