Onboarding a member to the EGYM system
Print this quick reference guide to use as a cheat sheet the first few times you onboard a new member.
10 Steps for Successful Member Onboarding
Register Member with Email into the EGYM System using the Trainer App.
Use the “+" button on the members list page; use a made up email if member has no email address
Take a photo of the member
Smile and take a photo
*Type in the height and weight of the member (only necessary for gyms without Fitness Hub)
Use Auto start.
4*. Activate EGYM+ using the EGYM+ button on on the members profile in the Trainer app at this step. Otherwise skip to 5.
5. Explain the EGYM Circuit, Circuit Rules and Benefits
6. Connect Wristband with EGYM account
Touch RFID Reader with Wristband
Type in Email Address on EGYM Machine
Create PIN via Trainer App or use password of the member
7. Machine Setup
Make sure Auto start Height has been set
Trainer confirms all seat height and ROM settings are correct
8. Strength Test
While setting up members stick to the circuit flow
You have 110 sec to change machine and set machine settings and conduct two strength tests, no training during initial setup.
Total set-up of machines takes between 14-20 minutes depending on your circuit setup.
Conduct the First strength test as a warm-up and get used to it (50-70%), after member stops pushing or pulling (Machine will tell them when to stop), press ACCEPT. Then press "Strength Test".
Second strength test as strong as member can (90-100%). Press ACCEPT.
9. Demo first of 2 or 4 training methods
Log into Machine 1
Press Start
Keep the ball in the curve, collect all coins
10. Demo second of 2 or 4 training methods
Log into Machine 2
Press Settings, Select Negative, OK
Press START, notice different weights and curve.
*Repeat Steps 8 and 9 if needed to demonstrate additional EGYM Training Methods
After Onboarding:
Download the EGYM Fitness App or your Branded Member App on Member's Phone
Show member the following:
Analysis (BioAge, Muscle Imbalances)
Ranking
Activity Levels
