BADMINTON &
TAG RUGBY
This half term we have been having lots of fun learning new skills and tactics in badminton and tag rugby. There are competitions against other schools later on in the year in both of these events so look out for more updates in the future!
Mrs V's maths group have learned about the rules of divisibility - these help us work out whether a number can be divided bvy another, without having to do written calculations! We worked in pairs to create presentations to explain these rules, with examples !

ANCIENT EGYPT
In Year 6, we have been learning about the Ancient Egyptian process of mummification. We created comic strips to show the steps involved and added illustrations!
We hope you enjoy reading them!
In maths, Mrs V's group have been learning how to do long division. To show how much we have learned, we created our own YouTube tutorials, using the 'I do, we do, you do' approach.
There may be some small errors, which we apologise for, but we hope you learn something from our videos!
A group of us took on a domino challenge to see how big a chain we could make where all the pairs add up to 6! We were so proud of it that we asked for a photo to be recorded here!
This half term, we have been coding using the Scratch website. Our aim was to make a multi-level platform game that was themed around ancient Egypt.
(6V's games to follow next half term...)
In music this half term, we have learned the song Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi and have improvised and performed with instruments!
