TEACH RESPONSIBILITY AND INDEPENDENCE

Get your children to pack their lunches (with your guidance) so that they take responsibility and learn independence.

When you pack it for them, the chances of them tossing out food they don’t like is like 99%. If you send a bag of capsicums to school and your child doesn’t eat capsicums, they WILL throw it in the trash. Letting them make their own lunch (with boundaries of course!) allows them to pack the food they will actually eat.

Teaching them to bring home their lunchbox, cutlery and drink bottles is another valuable skill in responsibility and independence.
