We acknowledge the people of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the land upon which we live, work, learn and play. We pay respects to their ancestors, past, present and emerging.

PREP TO YEAR 6 ACTIVITY

This term we will be studying about Aboriginal culture and sustainability. To start we will be learning about Country: the place upon which we live, work, learn and play. As part of the NAIDOC week celebrations we want to HEAL COUNTRY. We can do this by looking after and connecting to the land. You can do this by picking up rubbish, playing in your backyard or the park, not wasting water, taking care of plants and animals.

YOUR TASK

1. Choose one of the drawings to colour in.

2. Click on it and COPY.

3. PASTE it onto a WORD doc.

4. PRINT it.

5. Colour it in using pencils, textas, crayons or paint.

6. Take a photo and post in in your class SUSTAINABILITY folder on SEESAW.
