CHOCO MUG CAKE

CHOCO MUG CAKE

This is an easy and quick chocolate cake that can be made by anyone but BEWARE...it is VERY HOT when it comes out of the microwave.

This recipe is for two cakes, so you need two mugs.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 tbsp self-raising flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp cocoa

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp milk

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  • 2 squares of chocolate

METHOD:

  • In a bowl, place all the dry ingredients and mix well with a spoon. Use the spoon to grind all of the cocoa against the side of the cup so there are no lumps.

  • Add the egg and beat it a little on top of the dry ingredients to break the yolk.

  • Add the oil, milk and vanilla and mix until well combined.

  • Divide the mixture between the two mugs

  • Push the chocolate square into the middle of the mix and put into the microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes. (You might need to adjust the time according to your microwave)

  • Serve plain or with cream or ice cream.
