Time to be Creative!

This term in Art we will continue to focus on the Elements and Principles of Art including: colour, form, line, shape, space, texture, value, pattern and repetition. Particularly for the Prep to Grade 2 students there will be a strong focus on building fine motor skills.

During Term 3 we will cover many of the Elements and Principles of Art through activities including: drawing, painting, collage, craft, photography, 3D construction using Lego and blocks, making 3D sculptures out of play dough and plasticine.

Art lessons will be posted each week in the Art Google classrooms and students will be allocated time to do specialist classes on a Tuesday and Friday afternoon.

It would be great if students could post a photo of their finished Art work to share with their classmates and me. Additionally some Art work will be added to our Virtual assemblies.
