Neurotransmitters & Neuromodulators
You will learn about different types of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators.
You will be able to:
Explain the difference between excitatory and inhibitory
Explain the neural transmission at the synaptic gap using the lock & key process
Explain the roles of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators
Pick one of the two topics - Nervous system or Neuron
Write 2 things that you can remember with explanation
Pass it to the person next to you
Neurotransmitter
Neuromodulators
Excitatory/ Inhibitory
Glutamate/ GABA
Dopamine/ Serotonin
The site of communication between neurons is called the synapse. The synapse includes the terminal buttons of the presynaptic neuron, the synaptic gap (the space between neurons) and the receptor sites on the dendrites of the postsynaptic neuron.
If it's not completed in class, then it's home work for you.
I can start with this:
2D. 1 -3
I can do this:

I'm confident:
2D 8 - 15
SOMEWHAT CONFIDENT
