Toys and Hobbies

Toys are objects that we play with. Children have always played with toys but the types of toys have changed over time.

Toys in the past were usually made with materials such as stone, wood, clay or iron.

Toys moved by wheels, hinges and strings as there was no technologies no help them move.

There was no such thing as video games and board games were popular.

Toys today are very different to the toys you would have seen in the past. Toys today are mostly made of plastic.

A lot of toys and games need some sort of technology to make them work. Batteries, chargers and game consoles are a few examples.

Batteries are used for toys to move and make sound.

Chargers are used to power toys, iPads, fitbits, garmins and more.

Game consoles are devices such as playstation, xbox, nintendo and wii. Video games are played through these.
