School

The way technology has been used in schools has changed through time.

Books and chalkboards were used early in the 1900s.

A little bit later on radios and film strip projectors were used to in the classroom to listen to and watch information.

Overhead projectors were used to put information on paper onto a large space like a whiteboard.

The technology in schools today is very different.

Think about all the technology that is in your classroom and all the things those technologies help you do.

There might be:

  • interactive or promethean boards - to help your teacher write or draw, let you watch informative videos and even play games.

  • robotics such as dash and dots- to practice coding and problem solving.

  • iPads, laptops, computers - to find information, to play games such as reading eggs, to use seesaw to show your teacher work and much more.
