A birds eye view of Castle Hill over 30 years ago

Many years ago when Castle Hill was first found, the land was used for farming and growing crops. The roads around were mainly made of dirt and there were barely any buildings. There were not many people like there are today.

Lots of things have changed since then.

On your walk or drive to school think about what you see around.

There are lots of houses, apartments, shopping centres, schools, daycares and different types of buildings.

The roads are sealed and there are many forms of transport such as buses and the new Metro Line.

There are over 40,000 people living in the suburb and lots of different cultures.
