Care Inspectorate - November 2024
Dear Parent/Carer
I am writing to advise that we now have the follow up report from the Care Inspectorate in respect of their visit in November 2024. The report is below and details evaluation of our service across 5 key indicators:
It may be helpful to note that much of the evaluation process aligned with what our leadership team had identified as areas for development, and that ongoing work in these areas will continue. The area around ‘care, play and learning’ represents our core business and will continue to feature as a development priority this session and next, with collaborative work on improving observations and tracking already underway with support from the Early Learning Central team.
We are currently working hard to complete a significant recruitment campaign in response to staff turnover, and view the timing of this feedback as an opportunity to crystallise our improvement planning and continue to provide the best possible outcomes for our children.
Kind regards,
Ronnie Taylor
Head Teacher
All health and social care services in Scotland have a duty of candour. This is a legal requirement which means that when things go wrong and mistakes happen, the people affected understand what has happened, receive an apology, and that organisations learn how to improve for the future. An important part of this duty is that we provide an annual report about the duty of candour in our services.
This is a copy of our most recent report.
