We love seeing families coming into the setting at pick up time to see what their child has been doing! We follow best practice recommendations by encouraging families to come into the setting at pick-up time to collect their child from play. This allows families to familiarise themselves with the setting, have a look at the planning wall and see what we’ve been learning about, speak with the team and help us get to know families better. The children often enjoy showing their grown-ups what they’ve been creating, or sharing where they have played that day.
Please remember to sign your child in
Only adults should be filling in the sign-in sheets in the cloakroom
If the main nursery door is closed and you see someone waiting outside, please refrain from letting them in. Only a staff member should open the door.
Older siblings will now need to wait in the cloakroom area.
A reminder that buggies or prams must be left in the family area within the main entrance and cannot go into the nursery playroom.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to create a more comfortable environment for everyone.
We kindly ask that older siblings wait in the cloakroom space at drop off and pick up time.
It's really important that you share any information relating to your child's health and wellbeing, that may impact your child's experience at nursery.
If you need to speak to a member of the team at drop off or pick up times, please ensure you find a member of staff within the playroom. Our two staff members welcoming you at the doors are responsible for supervising and safeguarding the children only.
The staff members on the door have been advised by our health and safety officer, to refrain from engaging in conversations as they are responsible for supervising and safeguarding the children only. Thank you to everyone who has supported us with this.
