NURSERY DaYS & TIMES

Children in East Lothian are entitled to 1140 hours.

Law Primary Nursery operates on a 48 week basis.  We are open throughout the school holidays, aside from two weeks at Christmas, in-service days/public holidays .  The attendance pattern will change on 12 August 2026.

We offer the following attendance pattern:

Monday, Tuesday and alternate Fridays

Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Fridays

You will need to contact NAMS regarding your intended use of the ‘school holiday’ and Friday sessions.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Start/Finish Times from August 2026 ⭐⭐⭐

The nursery day will run from 08:30-15:00.  The following drop-off and collection times have been agreed with the Early Years central team.  These will be trialled and evaluated.  If necessary, times will be altered once we have had time to embed the new term-time model.

Drop-off arrangements

• Drop-off time is between 08:30 and 09:00.

• Please wait to be welcomed by a member of the team.

• Register your child when you go inside to the cloakroom.

Pick-up arrangements

• Collection is at 14:45-15:00.

• If you have made arrangements for another adult to collect your child, please let a member of staff know in advance.

• In an emergency situation, call Law P.S. office (01620 893775) to advise of the change of plan.
