Permian High School Offers various after school art organizations for students to be a part of. There are also various art shows that we work towards all year round.

CAT Magazine is a student run fine arts digital magazine. CAT serves as the de facto art club of Permian High School. What started off as an organization dedicated to displaying the work of visual arts students quickly expanded to include all the fine arts. It also grew beyond the borders of Permian High School and is now throughout Ector County. Whether its drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, photography, poetry, musical performance, dance performance, original comics or theather performance, CAT Magazine is a place for students to demonstrate their creativity and express themselves.

Permian Sculpture And botanical garden club
This organization is in charge or revitalizing the botanical garden and transforming it into a sculpture garden. The Botanical/Sculpture Garden will function as Permian's very own outdoor art gallery and will welcome the community so people from everywhere can come learn about plants, flowers and art.

VASE ART COMPETITION
The Visual Arts Scholastic Event is the biggest art competition in the United States. It is considered to be the High School art version of the Olympics. Every year, students work hard to participate in the regional VASE event. Winners of the local event get to participate at the state level for more awards, scholarships and recognition.

ANNUAL ECISD ART SHOW
This show showcases the top talent in ECISD. Students are eligible for various awards, recognition and scholarships. Unlike VASE which is a UIL type event, the ECISD show is a traditional art show which takes place at an art gallery or museum.

PERMIAN SCULPTURE AND BOTANICAL GARDEN ART SHOW
This art show is open to any and all students within ECTOR county. It takes place at Permian's Botanical and Sculpture Garden and is filled with food, music and various art activities. This is a nature themed show and any participant must create artwork with nature in mind.
